BISHOPS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD ARE INVITED TO JOIN IN THE CONSECRATION OF RUSSIA AND UKRAINE TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY BY THE POPE ON FRIDAY, MARCH 25

See the note

Catholic News Agency. The Vatican has confirmed that Pope Francis is inviting the world’s bishops to join him in consecrating Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Matteo Bruni, director of the Holy See press office, issued the confirmation on March 18.“I confirm that Pope Francis has invited the bishops of the whole world and their priests to join him in praying for peace and in consecrating and entrusting Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary,” he said.

CNA reported on March 17 that the pope intended to invite all Catholic bishops and priests around the world to join in the act of consecration.

In a letter sent urgently on Mar. 17 to all U.S. bishops, the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, Archbishop Christophe Pierre, revealed that Pope Francis intends to invite all Catholic bishops and priests around the world to join the Act of Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The letter, sent by Reverend Michael J.K. Fuller, General Secretary of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and signed by Archbishop Pierre, reveals that "(t)he Holy Father intends to invite each Bishop, or equivalent in law, together with his priests, to join in this act of consecration, if possible, at an hour corresponding to 5:00 pm Rome time."

"In the coming days," adds the letter, “the Holy Father will address a letter of invitation to the Bishops, enclosing the text of the Prayer of Consecration in the various languages."

Catholic bishops in Latin America and the Caribbean have already indicated that they will take part. The Catholic bishops of the Philippines have also signaled their intention to join in the act of consecration, as have the bishops of England and Wales.

On the same day that the pope carries out the consecration in Rome, Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, the papal almoner, will recite the act of consecration at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal.

NOTE FROM THIS BLOG:

Today (22‐III‐22) the Pope has said that it will be a solemn Act of Consecration OF HUMANITY, and Russia and Ukraine in particular, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

It was not the consecration of humanity, although Russia and Ukraine are especially mentioned, that was requested at Fatima.

We have no doubt that this consecration will certainly be valid and will have some good effect, but again it will be incomplete as the previous ones have been. The grace of Russia's conversion to the Catholic faith -promised by the Virgin of Fatima if her request were fulfilled- will not yet be given, at least not completely.

The fulfillment of what Our Lady asked in Fatima so that her Immaculate Heart finally triumphs, is still pending.

FEAST OF SAINT JOSEPH (the saint to whom all the other saints prayed)

In those days, the Carpenter taught God how to pray. And he talked with God face to face. And he looked with his eyes at the eyes of God. And with God he laughed. And God fell asleep in his arms. And God woke up with his kisses. And God ate out of his hand. And he prayed to God and sang to Him while holding Him on his knees. With his hands he touched God and took God by the hand. He played with God and God was happy with him.

And not even in the Glory was there more glory than in the house of Joseph.

 PRAYER TO SAINT JOSEPH:

Saint Joseph, guardian and father of virgins, to whose safekeeping were entrusted Innocence Itself, Christ Jesus, with Mary the Virgin of virgins; by these dear pledges, Jesus and Mary, I pray and beseech you to keep me free from all uncleanness, and make me with spotless mind, pure heart and chaste body, ever to serve Jesus and Mary most chastely all the days of my life. Amen.

Jesus, Joseph and Mary, I give you my heart and my soul.
Jesus, Joseph and Mary, assist me now and in my last agony.
Jesus, Joseph and Mary, may my soul rest in peace with you.

Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory.

Ora pro nobis, Joseph Sanctissime. Et pro Ecclesia Sancta ora

FEAR THOSE WHO KILL THE SOUL, FEAR THOSE WHO LEAD YOU ON THE PATH OF SIN TO ETERNAL DAMNATION

“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him” (Lk. 12, 4-5).

LET THE LITTLE CHILDREN COME TO ME

“And they brought to him young children, that he might touch them. And the disciples rebuked them that brought them. Whom when Jesus saw, he was much displeased and saith to them: Let the little children come to me and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God” (Mk. 10, 13-16).

How many things can we learn from children: their simplicity, their joy, their enthusiasm, their innocence, their purity, but especially we can learn their calm confidence. Children know very well that their parents love them and that is why they blindly trust them. They don’t question things, they simply abandon themselves to the will of their parents. It is precisely this trust that is most pleasing to Christ and therefore He invites us to imitate them in our relationship with the Heavenly Father.

God is an infinitely good Father and He always seeks to show us His love, but He asks us to be like children, that we accept His designs for us with simplicity and abandon ourselves in His arms, with the full confidence that His love for us is greater and more powerful than any setback.

Joy is the reflection of a soul that trusts in God and is the clearest and most eloquent distinctive of the Christian faith, so today let us strive to spread it to all those who approach us, knowing that our joy is a silent but eloquent word that speaks of God's love and of our trust in Him.

Purpose: Show a cheerful face despite the difficulties knowing that I will never lack God's help and protection.

THE WORST GENOCIDE

Have you looked into the statistics of how many annual murders are caused by abortions in your country and in the world?

“How many nations like ours today look horrified at the war, forgetting that they fought and are fighting with painstaking determination for the murder of the unborn called abortion. For a hypocritical world used to shows, of course a missile will cause its reaction: but a pair of pliers or a vacuum aspiration machine, which are regularly used a short distance from our homes against our own unborn brothers, cause many more deaths than war. Didn't anyone tell you that those killer suction machines could take more lives than the worst of bombs?"
