A FAMILY THAT PRAYS THE ROSARY TOGETHER DAILY IS MORALLY GUARANTEED ITS ETERNAL SALVATION

Do you want your whole family to be reunited in Heaven? Read these lines.

Do you want to achieve this sublime aspiration? Do you want every single member of your family to be in Heaven? I'm going to give you the formula to achieve it: pray the Rosary as a family every day of your life. A family that prays the Rosary every day is morally guaranteed its eternal salvation, because it is morally impossible for the Blessed Virgin, the Queen of Heaven and Earth, who is also our Queen and most loving Mother, not to graciously listen to a family that invokes her every day, saying to her fifty times with fervor and trust: “Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.” It is morally impossible, ladies and gentlemen, I state this categorically in the name of Catholic theology.

The Virgin Mary cannot abandon that family. She will ensure they live Christian lives and obtain for them the grace of repentance should they ever have the misfortune to sin. It is true that whoever dies in mortal sin is condemned, even if they have prayed the rosary many times during their life. That is certain. Whoever dies in mortal sin is condemned, even if they have prayed the rosary many times. Ah, but what is morally impossible is for someone who prays the rosary often to end up dying in mortal sin. The Virgin Mary will not allow it. If you pray the rosary daily and fervently, if you invoke the Virgin Mary with filial trust, she will ensure that you do not die in mortal sin. You will turn away from sin; you will repent, you will live Christian lives, and you will die in God's grace.

The rosary, prayed well daily, is a guarantee of eternity, an assurance of heaven! This is not coming from an enthusiastic Dominican because Saint Dominic was the founder of the rosary.  This is not it. I tell you this in the name of Catholic theology, gentlemen.

Pray the rosary as a family every day of your life, and I assure you absolutely, in the name of the Virgin Mary, that you will succeed in reuniting your entire family in heaven! What great joy it will be to be together again, never to be separated again!

THE SCAPULAR AND THE DAY OF OUR LADY OF CARMEN (JULY 16)

THE SCAPULAR OF CARMEN

A. HISTORY AND PRIVILEGES

1. Promise of Salvation:

Whoever dies with the scapular will be saved.

Saint Simon Stock was the sixth Superior General of the Carmelite Order during the years 1245-1265. Faced with serious difficulties in the Order, Saint Simon daily implored Mary's protection. His prayer was answered, and "the Blessed Virgin appeared to him, accompanied by a multitude of Angels, holding in her blessed hands the scapular of the Order and saying these words: This will be a privilege for you and all Carmelites; whoever dies with it will not suffer eternal fire, that is, whoever dies with it will be saved."  (Catalog of Saints of the Order

Another very old version reads as follows: "Saint Simon, an Englishman, a man of great holiness and devotion, in his prayer continually begged the Virgin to favor his Order with some singular privilege. The Virgin appeared to him holding the Scapular, saying: This is the privilege for you and yours; whoever dies wearing it will be saved" (Brussels Saints' Calendar). That is, he will avoid hell. He will go to heaven after a stay in purgatory.

The date and place of the apparition are not known with certainty. London is mentioned, on July 16, 1251. This was still within the generalate of Saint Simon and before 1252, since on January 13 of that year, Pope Innocent IV issued the Bull "Ex parte dilectorum" in which he defended the Carmelites on this issue.

2. Sabbath Privilege: And the first one will be freed from purgatory.  Saturday.

Sixty-two years later (1314), Our Lady appeared to Pope John XXII, who recorded her words in the Bull "Sacratissimo uti culmine," also called the Saturday Bull (3.3.1322): "If among the religious or confraternities of this order there are any who, upon dying, must purge their sins in the prison of purgatory, I, who am the Mother of mercy, will descend into purgatory on the first Saturday after their death, and I will free them to lead them to the Holy Mountain of Eternal Life."

3. Plenary Indulgences. - Those who wear the Scapular of Carmel join the Carmelite family and can gain a plenary indulgence on the day the scapular is imposed and on the following days (fulfilling the usual conditions, that is, receiving Communion—naturally without mortal sin—on that date and praying for papal intentions, usually a Creed, Our Father, Hail Mary, and Gloria).  as well as confessing eight days before or after the date):

May 16 (Saint Simon Stock).

July 16 (Our Lady of Mount Carmel).

July 20 (Saint Elijah the Prophet).

October 1 (Saint Therese of Lisieux).

October 15 (Saint Teresa of Jesus).

November 14 (All Saints' Day of the Carmelites).

December 14 (Saint John of the Cross).

B. CONDITIONS

1. For the promise of salvation, the following are required:

Having the scapular imposed. (It is enough to do so once.)

Wearing it. It can be replaced with a medal. (We will discuss this.) Both the medal and the scapular must be blessed upon imposition.

Devotion to Mary; seeking to imitate her; desiring to be good children of hers. The scapular is two small pieces of cloth that symbolize a garment. And whoever wears Mary's habit must live like her, practicing the virtues.  Christians. So that the habit-dress is united to the habit-virtue.

2. For the Sabbath privilege. In addition to the above, the following are required:

Maintain the chastity proper to one's state. (Confession restores the lost status.)

Pray the Little Office of Our Lady. This prayer can be substituted for abstinence from meat on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Other possible substitutions are also mentioned, provided they are authorized by a priest: the recitation of the Divine Office or the Rosary. For indulgences. The requirements proper to indulgences are required, plus the conditions of the scapular in the promise of salvation.

4. The medal. - Saint Pius X (Holy Office, 16.12.1910) decreed that the scapular, after its imposition, can be replaced by a metal medal bearing on one side an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and on the other an image of the Blessed Virgin (usually Our Lady of Mount Carmel).

C.  BLESSING AND IMPOSITION

There are several formulas for the blessing and imposition of the scapular. Some are approved for the different branches of Carmel, others are more general.

THE LADY WHO SNUBBED THE ROSARY

In his book, The Secret of the Rosary, St. Louis de Montfort writes of a pious but self-willed lady who lived in Rome. She was so devout that she put many a religious to shame.

One day, hearing of the holiness of St. Dominic, great apostle of the Rosary, she decided to make her confession to him. For penance the saint told her to say a Rosary and advised her to make it’s recitation her daily practice.

“But, Father, “ she protested, “I already say so many prayers and practice so many exercises…I pray the Stations of Cross every day, I wear sack-cloth and a hair-shirt, I scourge myself several times a week, and often fast…”

St. Dominic insistently advised that she adopt the recitation of the Rosary, but she would not hear it. Moreover, she left the confessional horrified at the methods of this new spiritual director who wanted to impose on her a devotion for which she had no taste.

One day, when she was saying her prayers, she was shown a vision. In this vision she saw her soul appear before the Supreme Judge. She also saw St. Michael holding the scale of her life. On one side he placed all her prayers and penances, and on the other all her sins and imperfections. Down went the scale on the side of sins and imperfections, outweighing all her good works.

Wide eyed, the good lady cried out for mercy, and turned to Our Lady imploring her help. Our Lady then gently set down on the tray of her good works the only Rosary she had ever said, which was the one St. Dominic had imposed on her as a penance.

This one Rosary was so heavy that it outweighed all her sins as well as good works.

Our Lady then reproved her for having refused to follow the counsel of her son Dominic and for refusing to adopt the practice of the daily recitation of the Rosary.

When the lady came to, she rushed to St. Dominic and casting herself down at his feet, told him what had happened. She begged forgiveness for her unbelief, and promised to say the Rosary faithfully every day. By this means she grew in holiness, and finally attained the glory of eternal life.

Thus says St. Louis de Montfort, “You who are people of prayer, learn from this the power, the value and the importance of this devotion of the holy Rosary when it is said with meditation on the mysteries.”

WHEN YOU have asked the Holy Spirit to help you pray well, put yourself for a moment in the presence of God and offer up the decades in the way that I am going to show you later.

Always be sure to ask of Almighty God, by this mystery and through the intercession of the Blessed Mother, one of the virtues that shines forth most in this mystery or one of which you stand in particular need.

Take great care to avoid the two pitfalls that most people fall into during the Rosary.

๐™๐™๐™š ๐™›๐™ž๐™ง๐™จ๐™ฉ ๐™ž๐™จ ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š ๐™™๐™–๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™š๐™ง ๐™ค๐™› ๐™ฃ๐™ค๐™ฉ ๐™–๐™จ๐™ ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™›๐™ค๐™ง ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™ฎ ๐™œ๐™ง๐™–๐™˜๐™š๐™จ ๐™–๐™ฉ ๐™–๐™ก๐™ก, so that if some people were asked their Rosary intention they would not know what to say. So, whenever you say your Rosary, be sure to ask for some special grace. Ask God's help in cultivating one of the great Christian virtues or in overcoming one of your sins.

This is because so many of us look upon the Rosary as a burden which is always heavier when we have not said it--especially if it is weighing on our conscience because we have promised to say it regularly or have been told to say it as a penance more or less against our will.

It is really pathetic to see how most people say the Holy Rosary--

they say it astonishingly fast and mumble so that the words are not properly pronounced at all. We could not possibly expect anyone, even the most unimportant person, to think that a slipshod address of this kind was a compliment and yet we expect Jesus and Mary to be pleased with it!

Small wonder then that the most sacred prayers of our holy religion seem to bear no fruit, and that, after saying thousands of Rosaries, we are still no better than we were before!

I have placed a cross at each pause, as you will see:

Our Father Who art in Heaven, ✞ hallowed be Thy name, ✞ Thy kingdom come, ✞ Thy will be done ✞ on earth as it is in Heaven. ✞ Give us this day ✞ our daily bread ✞ and forgive us our trespasses ✞ as we forgive those who trespass against us, ✞ and lead us not into temptation ✞ but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, ✞ the Lord is with Thee, ✞ blessed art thou among women ✞ and blessed is the Fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. ✞

Holy Mary, Mother of God, ✞ pray for us sinners, now ✞ and at the hour of our death. Amen.

At first, you may find it difficult to make these pauses because of your bad habit of saying prayers in a hurry; but a decade that you say recollectedIy in this way will be worth more than thousands of Rosaries said all in a rush--without any pauses or reflection.

SAINT DOMINIC AND THE ROSARY

(TAKEN FROM MIRACULOUS STORIES OF THE ROSARY BY SAINT LOUIS de MONTFORT)

Saint Dominic, seeing that the gravity of people's sins was hindering the conversion of the Albigensians, withdrew into a forest near Toulouse, where he prayed continuously for three days and three nights. During this time he did nothing but weep and do harsh penances in order to appease the anger of God. He used his discipline so much that his body was lacerated, and finally he fell into a coma. At this point our Lady appeared to him, accompanied by three angels, and she said, "Dear Dominic, do you know which weapon the Blessed Trinity wants to use to reform the world?" "Oh, my Lady," answered Saint Dominic, "you know far better than I do, because next to your Son Jesus Christ you have always been the chief instrument of our salvation." Then our Lady replied, "I want you to know that, in this kind of warfare, the principal weapon has always been the Angelic Psalter, which is the foundation-stone of the New Testament. Therefore, if you want to reach these hardened souls and win them over to God, preach my Psalter." So he arose, comforted, and burning with zeal for the conversion of the people in that district, he made straight for the cathedral. At once unseen angels rang the bells to gather the people together, and Saint Dominic began to preach. At the very beginning of his sermon, an appalling storm broke out, the earth shook, the sun was darkened, and there was so much thunder and lightning that all were very much afraid. Even greater was their fear when, looking at a picture of our Lady exposed in a prominent place, they saw her raise her arms to heaven three times to call down God's vengeance upon them if they failed to be converted, to amend their lives, and seek the protection of the holy Mother of God. God wished, by means of these supernatural phenomena, to spread the new devotion of the holy Rosary and to make it more widely known. At last, at the prayer of Saint Dominic, the storm came to an end, and he went on preaching. So fervently and compellingly did he explain the importance and value of the Rosary that almost all the people of Toulouse embraced it and renounced their false beliefs. In a very short time a great improvement was seen in the town; people began leading Christian lives and gave up their former bad habits.

WHEN YOU START PRAYING THE DAILY ROSARY, YOU CAN STOP FEARING DEATH...

The Fifteen Promises of Mary Granted to those who Recite the Rosary Daily

The Blessed Virgin Mary Promised to Saint Dominic and to all who follow that "Whatever you ask in the Rosary will be granted." She left for all Christians Fifteen Promises to those who recite the Holy Rosary.

Imparted to Saint Dominic and Blessed Alan de la Roche

1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.

2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

4.The Rosary will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire for eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.

7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.

8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenititude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.

9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.

11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.

14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons and daughters, and brothers and sisters of my only Son Jesus Christ.

15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

THE EXAMPLE OF PARENTS

"Parents should set an example for their children, especially when they gather at night to pray the Holy Rosary, on bended knees. From this comes only peace and an abundance of heavenly gifts for the family."

 Pope Pius IX

WHOEVER PERSEVERES IN THE DAILY PRAYER OF THE HOLY ROSARY WILL NOT BE CONDEMNED, THE DEVILS THEMSELVES HAVE CONFESSED IT

-THE DEVIL WILL PRESENT YOU WITH MANY OBSTACLES SO YOU DO NOT PRAY IT

Then, forced by God, the demons said to Saint Dominic:

“… This Mother of Christ is omnipotent, and can prevent her servants from falling into hell. She, like a sun, dissipates the darkness of our cunning machinations. Discovers our intrigues, breaks our nets and reduces all uselessness our temptations WE ARE FORCED to confess that no one who perseveres in his service condemns with us.

“A single sigh that she presents to the Holy Trinity is worth more than all the prayers, vows and desires of all the saints We fear her more than all the blessed together and we can do nothing against her faithful servants.

"Also keep in mind that many Christians who invoke her at death and who should be condemned according to ordinary laws, are saved thanks to her intercession. We have to add, with greater clarity and precision - BOUND by the violence they cause us - that no one who perseveres in the prayer of the Rosary will be condemned. Because she obtains for her faithful devotees the true contrition of sins, so that they may confess them and achieve their forgiveness.”

Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort, The Secret of the Rosary

O Sweet Mother of God, pray for us

"The ROSARY is a long chain that links heaven and earth. One end of it in our hands and THE OTHER END IS IN THE HANDS OF THE HOLY VIRGIN." -Saint Therese of Lisieux-

POWERFUL MEANS

“For myself, I know of no better way of establishing the kingdom of God, Eternal Wisdom, than to unite vocal and mental prayer by saying the holy Rosary and meditating on its fifteen mysteries.”
