There are three Thursdays in the year that shine brighter than the sun: Maundy Thursday, Corpus Christi and the Feast of the Ascension.

The Church jubilantly celebrates the Feast of Corpus Christi 60 days after Easter Sunday to commemorate the institution of the Holy Eucharist.

The Feast of Corpus Christi was preceded by the miracle that happened in Bolsena, Italy, in 1263. According to different accounts, a priest who was celebrating the Holy Mass saw blood flow when raising the Consecrated Host.
