ARTICLE BY MONSIGNOR FULTON J. SHEEN, PROPHETICALLY WRITTEN IN 1948

[Satan] will establish a counter-church, which will be the ape of the [Catholic] Church… It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and emptied of its divine content. We are living in the days of the Apocalypse. The two great forces—the Mystical Body of Christ and the Mystical Body of the Antichrist—are beginning to draw battle lines for the catastrophic conflict. The false prophet will have a religion without a cross. A religion without a world to come. A religion to destroy religions. There will be a false church.

The Church of Christ, the Catholic Church, will be one; and the false prophet will create the other. The false church will be worldly, ecumenical (in every sense, even with pagans), and global. It will be a loose federation of churches and religions, forming some kind of global association. A world parliament of churches.  It will be emptied of all divine content; it will be the mystical body of the Antichrist. The Mystical Body on earth today will have its Judas Iscariot, and he will be the false prophet.

The Antichrist will not be called that; otherwise, he would have no followers. He will not wear red stockings, nor vomit sulfur, nor carry a trident, nor wave a tail with an arrow like Mephistopheles in Faust. This masquerade has helped the devil convince men that he does not exist. When no one recognizes him, he exerts more power. God has defined Himself as "I am who I am," and the Devil as "I am who I am not."

Nowhere in Sacred Scripture do we find a description for the popular myth of the Devil as a jester dressed as the first "red" in the world. Rather, he is described as a fallen angel, as "the prince of this world," whose business is to tell us that there is no other world.

His logic is simple: if there is no heaven, there is no hell;  If there is no hell, then there is no sin; if there is no sin, then there is no judge; and if there is no judgment, then evil is good, and good is evil. But above all these descriptions, Our Lord tells us that he will be so like Himself that he would deceive even the elect, and certainly no devil ever seen in picture books could deceive even the elect.

How will he come in this new age to gain followers for his religion? The pre-communist Russian belief is that he will come disguised as the great humanitarian; he will speak of peace, prosperity, and abundance, not as a means to lead us to God, but as ends in themselves.

The third temptation, in which Satan asked Christ to worship him and all the kingdoms of the world would be his, will become the temptation to have a new religion without the Cross, a liturgy without a world to come, a religion to destroy religion, or a politics that is a religion, that gives to Caesar what is God's.  Amidst his apparent love for humanity and his fervent pronouncements on freedom and equality, he will harbor a great secret that he will tell no one: he will not believe in God. He will establish his dictatorship.

Because his religion will be fraternity without the fatherhood of God, it will deceive even the elect. He will establish a counter-church that will be the ape of the Church, because he, the Devil, is the ape of God. It will have all the marks and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and emptied of its divine content. It will be a mystical body of the Antichrist that in all its outward aspects will resemble the mystical body of Christ.

Monsignor Fulton J. Sheen, 1948.

Modernist heresy leads us toward this false religion and this false church.

THE APOCALYPSE: REVELATION OF HOPE AND DIVINE TRIUMPH

INTRODUCTION

The Book of Revelation, far from being an enigmatic or catastrophic work, is the crown of Sacred Scripture. In its pages, the eternal truth is revealed: Christ is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the sovereign King who directs all history toward its glorious fulfillment in the New Jerusalem.

The insights of great Catholic interpreters—Msgr. Straubinger, Fr. Castellani, Cornelius a Lapide, and Francisco Suárez—shed light on this book with depth and wisdom. Each, from their unique perspective, confirms that the Apocalypse is a providential revelation that invites us to hope, strengthens our faith, and refutes the errors of a world that denies God.

I. THE APOCALYPSE AS DIVINE REVELATION

Straubinger:

“The word Apocalypse does not mean ‘catastrophe’ but ‘revelation.’ This book unveils the mysteries of God, showing His designs in the struggle between good and evil” (Biblia Comentada, Introduction to Revelation).

Castellani:

“The Apocalypse proclaims Christ’s sovereignty over history and the certainty of His final triumph” (The Apocalypse of St. John, Prologue).

Cornelius a Lapide:

“The Apocalypse, in its symbolic language, reveals great truths: divine judgment, the restoration of justice, and the eternal victory of the Lamb” (Commentaria in Sacram Scripturam, Rev 1).

Francisco Suárez:

“The revelation of the Apocalypse is both a source of consolation and instruction, as it orders the mind and elevates the soul to contemplate the ultimate end: eternal communion with God” (De Fide, Spe et Charitate).

Explanation:

The Apocalypse is God’s final word to man—not as an addition, but as the consummation of all revealed in Christ. Just as dawn heralds the day, the apocalyptic images foreshadow the glory of God’s Kingdom. Whoever contemplates this book with faith not only finds comfort in trials but gains certainty that all creation will be subjected to Christ so that “God may be all in all” (1 Cor 15:28).

II. THE SEVEN CHURCHES: TRIAL AND CALLING

Straubinger:

“The Seven Churches represent the various spiritual dispositions of the faithful, from fervent faithfulness to dangerous lukewarmness” (Biblia Comentada, Rev 2:1-29).

Castellani:

“The message to the Churches is a preliminary divine judgment: Christ, as Judge and Shepherd, exhorts, corrects, and promises eternal reward to the victors” (The Parables of Christ, Chapter 7).

Cornelius a Lapide:

“Christ addresses the Churches with words of justice and mercy, adjusting their merits and faults, like a surgeon who cuts to heal” (Commentaria in Sacram Scripturam, Rev 2).

Explanation:

The Churches symbolize both the Universal Church and each Christian soul. In each letter, Christ displays His perfection as Judge, combining justice and mercy: He praises the good, corrects the evil, and promises glory to the perseverant. Thus, we learn that the path to the Kingdom requires vigilance, constant conversion, and complete trust in the eternal Shepherd.

III. THE SEVEN SEALS: PURIFYING JUDGMENT

Straubinger:

“The Seals are not mere punishments but trials that purify humanity in preparation for the eternal Kingdom” (Biblia Comentada, Rev 6:1-17).

Castellani:

“The Seals show the effect of sin in history but also God’s intervention directing it toward final restoration” (The Apocalypse of St. John, Chapter 3).

Cornelius a Lapide:

“The judgments accompanying the Seals are God’s voice calling men to acknowledge His sovereignty and repent” (Commentaria in Sacram Scripturam, Rev 6).

Explanation:

The Seals represent God’s pedagogical approach throughout history. Just as a physician prescribes bitter remedies to heal the body, God permits wars, famines, and tribulations as calls to conversion. Through these, the Christian recognizes that nothing happens outside of Providence and that, in the end, every tear will be wiped away, and every wound will be healed in Christ.

IV. THE BEAST AND THE FINAL BATTLE

Straubinger:

“The Beast symbolizes the powers that seek to replace God—political, cultural, or spiritual” (Biblia Comentada, Rev 13:1-10).

Castellani:

“The Beast, the Antichrist, is man claiming to be God, the system that denies all transcendence. But its downfall is predestined from eternity” (Christ, Is He Coming or Not?, Chapter 5).

Cornelius a Lapide:

“The Beast and its allies are instruments of Satan, but Christ will defeat them with the breath of His mouth” (Commentaria in Sacram Scripturam, Rev 13).

Suárez:

“The power of the Antichrist, though seemingly absolute, is merely an instrument to glorify divine justice” (De Fide, Spe et Charitate).

Explanation:

The Beast is the embodiment of rebellion against God, present in all times as systems, ideologies, or cultures. Its power is neither absolute nor eternal; Christ allows it to test the faith of His own, but its fall is inevitable. The Apocalypse thus teaches that the victory of evil is only apparent, for the final word belongs to the King of kings.

V. THE NEW JERUSALEM: FINAL GLORY

Straubinger:

“The New Jerusalem is the fulfillment of all promises: perfect communion between God and His people” (Biblia Comentada, Rev 21:1-4).

Castellani:

“The Apocalypse ends with a wedding because history culminates in the perfect love between Christ and His Church” (The Apocalypse of St. John, Chapter 7).

Cornelius a Lapide:

“The heavenly Jerusalem is the fullness of God’s Kingdom, where the righteous will behold His glory forever” (Commentaria in Sacram Scripturam, Rev 21).

Explanation:

The New Jerusalem is the ultimate goal of history. It is above all the state of eternal communion with God, where every tear will be wiped away, and suffering will be transformed into glory. This final destination, promised from the beginning, calls us to persevere in hope and live as citizens of heaven.

CONCLUSION: THE APOCALYPSE AS DEFENSE OF TRUTH

The Apocalypse is not a book of fear but one of confidence. It reveals:

1. The sovereignty of God: All is under His providence; neither evil nor death holds ultimate power.

2. The victory of Christ: The Beast and the Antichrist are defeated, and Christ reigns eternally.

3. The hope of the Christian: Against nihilism, the Apocalypse proclaims that life has meaning, and history has a purpose: eternal glory with God.

Epilogue:

The Apocalypse invites us to fidelity and vigilance. In its pages, the Christian soul finds comfort and strength, for the final word belongs to the Lamb who was slain and now reigns forever and ever.

FLEE FROM THEM

“Know also this, that in the last days shall come dangerous times. Men shall be lovers of themselves, covetous, haughty, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, wicked. Without affection, without peace, slanderers, incontinent, unmerciful, without kindness, traitors, stubborn, puffed up, and lovers of pleasure more than of God: Having an appearance indeed of godliness but denying the power thereof. Now these avoid.”

Sain Paul 11 Tim 3: 1-5

The Power of the Antichrist

The Antichrist will not materially possess a horrifying figure as represented here. On the contrary, he will possess a very attractive personality and will seem full of qualities and virtues. And if those days were not abbreviated, nobody would be saved; but because of the chosen ones those days will be shortened.

If This Is Not The End Of Times, Then It Must Be The Rehearsal!

In some countries things are more "advanced", and they try to lead us all in the same direction.
What crazy times we live in!
They want priests to get married, and married people to get divorced.
They want heterosexuals to live together without marriage, because love should be "free," and they want homosexuals to "get married."
They want women to dress like men, and men to dress like women.
They want to hail as "brave" those who come out of the closet, and they demonize as "intolerant" and "fascist" anyone who is proud of their heterosexuality.
They want to recognize the “right” for an adult male to believe and act as a little girl (and be protected as such) and at the same time they want to pervert children, from a very young age, by indoctrinating them with such things as Gender Ideology that deforms their sexuality.
They want to encourage sexuality of minors but they don’t want to increase birth rates or school dropouts because of pregnancies (that is why they have micro-abortives and abortions).
They want to protect the lives of animals and, at the same time, they allow a pregnant teenager to murder her child without their parents knowing.
They talk about the rights of children, but they deny them the right to have a father and a mother (with homosexual adoptions) or the most basic right to life, with the authorization of "legal" abortion.
They want to encourage free sex changes and abortions, even though there are no resources for free coverage of many serious illnesses or medical coverage for all the people, or when there is no adequate space in hospitals.
They want to exalt "freedom", in order to eliminate the conscientious objection of doctors and nurses who do not want to practice abortions, but they want to legally prevent a psychologist from trying to reverse the homosexual tendency in someone who asked them to do it.
They want to prohibit any sign or public religious cult, which they consider a violation to "secularism" and "disrespectful" to non-believers, but they want to allow, in the name of "freedom", people to commit sacrileges and to profane religious images and temples.
And all this without analyzing what happens inside the Church, which is besieged by fifth columnists who are trying to make a global masonic cult that includes all religions.
If this is not the end of times, then it must be the rehearsal!

Paving the Way for the Antichrist with Communion to Adulterers: A Sacrilegious Act in Argentina

A high Mass was celebrated in Argentina to give Communion to adulterous couples

Last Sunday, at the Parish Church of San Roque, Reconquista, Santa Fe (Argentina), the local bishop, Macin, appointed by Pope Francis in 2013, carried out a monumental and sacrilegious scandal that clearly showed what there is behind Amoris laetitia.

In this church, he organized a high Mass, in which he publicly reported that according to the norms sent in a letter, more than 6 months ago by Pope Francis, and within the framework of the integration of Christians "marginalized" by their irregular situation of divorced and remarried couples, or by an irregular situation (divorced in a new union), after having carried out a period of 6 months of Saturday meetings called "The Way of Discernment"*, it was ruled, in accordance with the aforementioned (by order of the pope) to INCLUDE THEM IN SACRAMENTAL AND FULL COMMUNION, which happened at the ceremony. At no point did they mention that those people had taken a vow of chastity or lived "as brothers and sisters”.

Communion was given to everyone (about 30 couples) accompanied by their relatives who took photos in a festive mood. No reference was ever made to the scriptures condemning adultery, but they did mention again and again the works of Amoris laetitia, where it is said that divorced and remarried couples should be included in full communion.

This bishop, and all those who follow this type of indications and acts, are simply apostates, wolves dressed in lambs who not only send souls to hell, but also profane the Eucharist, of which they will have to give an account before God.

This news is confirmed by (the website) Adelante la Fe, by eyewitnesses and, if there is any doubt, it can be checked in the local information.

Soon We will Have Great Happenings: Father Gabriele Amorth

“The Lord will make Himself heard, and the world will respond. I look at all this with optimism, because God always acts for us to obtain a greater good than the punishments inflicted, which are meant to open the eyes of humanity, which has forgotten and abandoned him.”

Faithful Insight. It is only a year and a half to the anniversary of the first hundred years of the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima. Our Lady here made explicit reference to the evils that would come from Russia, were it not to be consecrated to her Immaculate Heart and the devotion of the Communion of Reparation of the First Saturdays spread among the faithful. Father Gabriele Amorth, 90, who is the exorcist of Rome as well as a prolific author, does not believe that what was requested by the Blessed Virgin has, in fact, been fulfilled. He asserts in fact that:

- "The Consecration has not yet been made. I was there on March 25 in St. Peter's Square, I was in the front row, practically within touching distance of the Holy Father. John Paul II wanted to consecrate Russia, but his entourage did not, fearing that the Orthodox would be antagonized, and they almost-almost thwarted him. Therefore, when His Holiness consecrated the world on his knees, he added a sentence not included in the distributed version that instead said to consecrate "especially those nations of which you yourself have asked for their consecration." So, indirectly, this included Russia. However, a specific consecration has not yet been made. You can always do it. Indeed, it will certainly be done ... ".

Our Lady had foretold at Fatima the blood of martyrs, if penance were not done. The blood of the martyrs has begun to flow copiously: how long will it be before God sends His punishment?

Fr. Amorth: Look, today there are more martyrs than during the first centuries of Christianity. Just think of the Middle East, where so many Christians are killed simply because they are Christian. There is a huge amount of martyrs! But let us not forget what our Lady said: "In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, which will be converted and the world will be granted a period of peace "... Soon we will have great happenings.

When?

Fr. Amorth: It is hard to give details of what you do not live. I'm not a prophet. At one time, Israel pulled away from God to embrace idolatry. Prophets were treated very badly. Finally, God punished. Today the world does not turn from God because it is idolatrous; rather it pursues pure atheism, so as to put science on the altar. But science does not create; it only discovers that which God has made. In turning away from the Lord, its breakthroughs are put to disastrous use. Without the Lord, progress too is misused. We see it in laws that go totally against nature such as divorce, abortion, 'gay marriage' ... we have forgotten God! Therefore, God will soon admonish humanity in a very powerful manner. He knows how to remind us of His presence.

There are rumors that you had recently indicated a period of eight months, maybe less ... But, as I understand it, there is not a precise time…

Fr. Amorth: I think it is early. I think we are close. More and more so. The Lord will make Himself heard, and the world will respond. I look at all this with optimism, because God always acts for us to obtain a greater good than the punishments inflicted, which are meant to open the eyes of humanity, which has forgotten and abandoned him. I always remember the rhyme of Metastasio: "Wherever I look, immense God, I see: in Your works I admire you, I recognize You in myself." We should always seek the Lord, we cannot forget the origin, the First Cause, as unfortunately happens today ... I was with Padre Pio for 26 years and remember how furious he was about the invention of television: "You will see what it will do!" he said. It has also allowed good things. But I'm very much in the midst of people and see how many people have been ruined by television and the Internet.

Father Amorth concluded the interview making a call to conversion, which we have included next to his picture at the beginning of this post.
