MILLIONS OF CORRUPTED CONSCIENCES

And to God’s question, "Where is your brother?" we have replied:

"I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?"

Just as happened with Cain, God holds us responsible for the blood of our brothers—the little ones murdered in their mothers' wombs. Unlike other crimes, almost everyone participates in abortion: the mother and father who conceived the child, the grandparents who consented to it, the friends who recommended it, those who manufactured the surgical instruments, the doctors who performed the procedure, the politicians who pushed for the law, the judges who decriminalized it, those who promote it, the Catholic laypeople who support it, the priests who fail to denounce this crime, those who believe it is justified in certain circumstances, and those who remain silent.

That is why abortion is the most execrable crime of all: because it not only kills millions of human beings, but also corrupts millions of consciences. We are speaking of millions of souls lost every day.

Whatever God sends us, we richly deserve...
