False religions are means of perdition invented by the devil: Pius XII

"No one visibly outside the Church can be certain of their eternal salvation—absolutely no one. The Catholic perspective is far removed from soulless modernist optimism. False religions are not means of salvation, but means of perdition invented by the devil as the remote cause, the world as the proximate cause, and the flesh as the immediate cause. They deprive people of the countless aids and graces that can only be obtained by entering the body of the Church through baptism."
