The Council of Trent, in its canon XVIII on justification, decrees:
“If any one saith, that the commandments of God are, even for one that is justified and constituted in grace, impossible to keep; let him be anathema.”
And the Scripture says:
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it” (1st Cor 10.13.)
He who has ears to hear, let him hear. God is not mocked!
