OFFERING

​"Behold me here, God of my heart, burdened with the huge weight of an immense debt of gratitude and recognition for all the general and particular benefits with which You have filled me, and which You are prepared to grant me in time and in eternity. I confess that Your mercies toward me have been and are infinite; nevertheless, I am ready to pay You to the last penny. In satisfaction for all that I owe You, I present to You, through the hands of the priest, the divine Blood, the adorable Body, and the innocent Victim placed upon this altar. This offering is sufficient (of this I am certain) to repay all the gifts You have granted me; being of infinite value, it alone is worth all that I have received and can receive from You.

​"Angels of the Lord, and you, blessed inhabitants of heaven, help me to give thanks to my God, and offer Him in gratitude for so many benefits not only this Mass which I have the happiness of attending, but also all those being celebrated at this moment throughout the whole world, so that by this means I may satisfy His ardent charity for all the favors He has shown me, as well as for those He is prepared to grant me now and forever and ever. Amen."
