1. I believe he exists and that he is very effective and powerful.
2. I believe he has a great interest in making me believe he doesn't exist.
3. I believe he attacks through the weakest point.
4. I believe he attacks little by little.
5. I believe he grows bolder if I cower and cowers if I bravely stand up to him.
6. I believe he is determined to leave me alone.
7. I believe he uses alternating tactics. When I am down: apparent pleasures. When I am up: listlessness, mistrust, discouragement.
8. I believe he will try to make me change in times of desolation.
9. I believe he disguises himself as a "good angel."
10. I believe that if I remain united with the Immaculate Virgin, I have nothing to fear.
